Description
Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team in the eastern Lehigh Valley area, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Credit Manager by overseeing customer credit approvals, collections, and accounts receivable processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, staff development, and risk management while working collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the collection of past-due customer invoices within your assigned portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and Regional Sales Managers.
• Collaborate with Customer Care and Sales leadership to address and resolve collection concerns.
• Analyze and recommend enhancements to credit and collections systems to improve efficiency and reporting.
• Review and update departmental policies, controls, and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Take a lead role in the implementation of new systems and solutions to enhance operational processes.
• Conduct formal customer credit limit analyses and reviews annually or as needed.
• Approve new account requests and updates to existing credit limits before presenting them to the Credit Manager.
• Identify and escalate negative customer activity to management for further review.
• Manage and drive resolution of customer disputes, ensuring timely reporting and collaboration with the appropriate teams.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with credit and collections systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to question processes and drive improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industries.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and solve problems effectively.
