Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Trial Attorney with over three years of experience in personal injury law to join our team in Austin, Texas. Our firm prides itself on delivering exceptional support to clients during challenging times while fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload, engage in litigation, and advocate for justice in the courtroom.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a litigation docket of approximately 75 personal injury cases, ensuring timely and effective progress.

• Collaborate with a team of two paralegals to prepare and advance cases to resolution.

• File lawsuits, draft pleadings, and conduct discovery to build strong cases.

• Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and establish case strategies.

• Represent clients in mediations, negotiating settlements that align with their best interests.

• Prepare for and conduct jury trials, including presenting evidence and arguing cases in court.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss case strategies and share insights.

• Maintain a commitment to high-quality legal work and ethical advocacy. Requirements • A minimum of three years of experience as a personal injury attorney, including trial work.

• Proven experience in handling jury trials, with at least second-chair trial experience required.

• Strong dedication to helping clients navigate personal injury cases with empathy and professionalism.

• A desire to continuously improve trial advocacy skills and legal knowledge.

• Proficiency in case management software and other legal tools.

• Expertise in civil litigation, including personal injury and insurance defense.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients.
