Description We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Cloud and Network Security Specialist to oversee the deployment and management of advanced Microsoft security tools and solutions. Based in Herndon, Virginia, this role requires expertise in securing cloud environments, implementing robust security frameworks, and optimizing Microsoft technologies. Join our team to play a critical role in safeguarding organizational systems and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender security tools, including Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Defender, and Microsoft Purview.

• Oversee the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Intune, Azure Sentinel, and related security solutions.

• Ensure the security and compliance of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Azure, and Office 365.

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch and AWS technologies.

• Automate security processes and configurations using tools like Ansible and API development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network security protocols and backup strategies.

• Conduct cluster analysis to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen system defenses.

• Utilize Atlassian Jira for task management and tracking security-related projects.

• Design and implement scalable solutions using AWS Auto Scaling and other automation tools.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud and network security trends. Requirements • Proven experience with Microsoft Defender tools, including 365 Defender and Azure Defender.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server.

• Hands-on expertise with AWS technologies, including Amazon CloudWatch and EC2.

• Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and API development.

• Familiarity with network administration and security best practices.

• Experience with Atlassian Jira for project tracking and cluster analysis for system optimization.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview and its role in maintaining compliance.
