    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our client's close-knit team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our daily operations, handling a variety of accounting tasks that ensure our business runs smoothly. Our client is a leader in their field, providing top-of-the-line machinery to nearly any industry involved in fabrication.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Process invoices for previous day's activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    + Manage the ordering of goods and follow up on purchase orders.

    + Match credit card receipts to accounting system.

    + Handle the receipt of invoices from suppliers.

    + Update of cost of goods sold and make necessary adjustments.

    + Perform inventory receiving and ordering, and assist with physical counts.

    + Contribute to daily accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

    Requirements

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Education in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business experience.

    + Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficient in computer skills, including Excel and other MS Office applications. *Experience in Sage MAS100 accounting software will make you stand out!

    + Commitment to accuracy and an eye for the details.
