    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Osprey, Florida. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely collection of payments while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to grow within the organization and contribute to a dynamic team in the hospitality industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and post payments and ensure accuracy in billing.

    • Audit receipts and amenities to verify proper coding and adherence to documented procedures.

    • Resolve member inquiries regarding billing and accounts with professionalism and clarity.

    • Monitor sales tax compliance and assign transactions to the appropriate general ledger codes.

    • Collaborate with other departments to address internal and external communication needs.

    • Cross-train on additional accounting functions to provide support during absences.

    • Generate reports and sort data using Excel to assist with financial analysis.

    • Ensure timely responses to all account-related inquiries within a few hours.

    • Contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service in a hospitality-focused environment.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.

    • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Jonas, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data sorting and report generation.

    • Solid understanding of account reconciliation and billing processes.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to audit financial records accurately.

    • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.

    • Familiarity with hospitality is a plus.

    • Ability to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility in hours.
