    Description

    + Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Record all financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, payments, and sales into accounting systems.

    + Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure all records match and discrepancies are addressed promptly.

    + Generate Reports: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances, to assist with management decision-making.

    + Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and track accounts receivable balances to ensure timely billing and collections.

    + Payroll Processing: Assist in processing employee payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and timely payments when needed.

    + Tax Documentation Preparation: Organize and maintain tax documents to support tax filings and auditing processes.

    + Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on changing financial laws.

    Requirements

    + Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.

    + Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, as well as Microsoft Excel.

    + Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.
