We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to help oversee critical financial operations and ensure compliance with SaaS-specific accounting standards. Based in Beloit, Wisconsin, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with a CPA license and expertise in revenue recognition, subscription-based billing, and deferred revenue management. Responsibilities:

• Manage revenue recognition processes in alignment with ASC 606 standards.

• Reconcile accounts and balance sheets to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for month-end close activities.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.

• Analyze and manage deferred revenue and subscription billing operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and improve processes.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to perform detailed financial analyses.

• Ensure compliance with SaaS-specific accounting practices and company policies.

• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and external reviews.

• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• Proficiency in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and balance sheet management.

• Expertise in general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.

• CPA certification is required.

• Experience with subscription billing models and deferred revenue management.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
