Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Program Assistant to provide support within the Benefits unit of our Human Resources department in Los Angeles, California. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of vendor payments and invoice processing while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The role is ideal for someone with prior accounts payable experience and a solid understanding of HR-related financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Process invoices and payments accurately for benefits vendors, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with team members in the Benefits unit to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of transactions and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
• Utilize systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to streamline financial processes and data management.
• Support the HR department by handling administrative tasks related to benefits and accounts payable.
• Monitor and track payment schedules to ensure deadlines are met consistently.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and summaries on accounts payable activities for review by management.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security protocols while handling sensitive financial information. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably within a human resources or benefits context.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Familiarity with HRMS systems and benefit functions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members.
