Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized Senior Inventory Manager to support a project focused on inventory management and procurement, ensuring accurate ERP records and alignment with financial reporting. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation of inventory controls to ensure consistency and compliance across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Monitor and reconcile inventory; perform and document regular cycle counts.
+ Create, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management and operations.
+ Establish and manage clear documentation for inventory procedures and day-to-day operations.
+ Oversee purchasing activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
+ Maintain and update inventory, purchasing, and receiving records in ERP system (Q360).
+ Ensure inventory accuracy to support financial reporting, including COGS, accruals, and invoice matching.
+ Analyze inventory data to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend improvements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine inventory and procurement procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
+ 4+ years of experience in inventory, procurement, or related operations.
+ Strong understanding of inventory accounting (e.g., FIFO/LIFO, valuation, reconciliation).
+ Experience creating and maintaining SOPs and inventory control documentation.
+ Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
