Description

We are looking for an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join our small but busy practice in Paramus, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate closings and be comfortable handling a high volume of transactions. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless process for clients ranging from first-time home buyers to large-scale developers. This is a fully in-office, 9am - 5pm, position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and organize documents required for residential real estate closings.

• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and other parties to coordinate and facilitate seamless closings.

• Ensure all necessary documents are gathered and verified in a timely manner.

• Manage deadlines and maintain checklists to track the progress of each transaction.

• Monitor compliance with New Jersey real estate laws and closing procedures.

• Utilize case management software, such as Clio, to maintain accurate and updated records.

• Address client inquiries and provide clear communication throughout the closing process.

• Assist with post-closing tasks, including document filing and disbursement of funds.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential real estate transactions.

• Strong knowledge of New Jersey real estate laws and closing processes.

• Proficiency in Clio or similar case management software.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.

• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Acrobat and other legal software.

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

• Detail-oriented approach to handling sensitive and important documentation.
