Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in vehicle titling, billing, and commission calculations. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively and grow professionally within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage titling for new and used vehicles, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Accurately handle billing for vehicle transactions and calculate profits, commissions, and receivables/payables.

• Prepare and report delivery information and claim incentives or factory program benefits.

• Organize and maintain documentation for new and used inventory, as well as rental fleet records.

• Scan and securely upload necessary documents to the server for record-keeping.

• Utilize modern technology to enhance workflow efficiency and adopt additional responsibilities as needed.

• Collaborate with experienced staff to learn processes and contribute to team goals.

• Ensure detailed and accurate record-keeping in all financial transactions and reports.

• Provide support for month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.

• Strong understanding of State of Minnesota titling processes, with training and continuing education provided.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from experienced team members.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Proficiency in general ledger management, journal entries, and month-end close processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to embrace modern technology and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
