Ready to take the next step in your accounting career and become a leader in the financial operations of a company? Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of accounting while contributing strategic insights to the company’s financial future.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As Accounting Manager, you are the backbone of the organization’s financial health, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all financial functions. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Leading the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, including collections and vendor payments.
+ Preparing and managing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
+ Collaborating with the executive team to provide insights for growth strategies and financial decision-making.
+ Reconciling bank and credit card statements and ensuring meticulous accuracy.
+ Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing adjusting journal entries.
+ Supervising and mentoring accounting staff to maintain an efficient and motivated team.
+ Ensuring company compliance with local, state, and federal tax filings, including CA Sales Tax.
+ Leveraging technology such as QuickBooks to maintain seamless accounting workflows.
Requirements
+ You hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related fields (required).
+ You’ve built 2–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, and you’re ready for more responsibility.
+ Proficiency with QuickBooks and a strong command of financial processes.
+ Excellent analytical skills combined with a solutions-driven mindset.
+ Leadership skills to inspire and guide a growing team.
