Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Anaheim, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position where you will be responsible for managing key financial processes, including preparing comprehensive financial statements, overseeing payroll, and handling full-cycle accounting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting and a proactive approach to maintaining the company’s financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 60 employees using Paychex, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including resolving discrepancies.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.

• Generate and review aging reports to assist with collections and improve cash flow management.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all tasks are completed within deadlines.

• Post transactions accurately and in a timely manner to maintain financial integrity.

• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.

• Utilize Agility, QuickBooks, and Excel for daily financial operations, including creating pivot tables and performing VLOOKUPs.

• Partner with internal teams to address and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities. Requirements • At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the lumber or industrial manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and related processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.

• Hands-on experience with Paychex, Agility, and QuickBooks.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
