Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting expertise who can manage financial processes effectively and ensure compliance with organizational standards. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate records and supporting overall financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data is up-to-date and correct.

• Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries and adjusting accounts as needed.

• Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing reports and reconciliations.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP FICO to manage financial data.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies during all financial tasks.

• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve workflow processes.

• Prepare financial documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Analyze financial information to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and general ledger maintenance.

• Experience with accounting software, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP FICO.

• Familiarity with journal entries and month-end closing procedures.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies.
