Description

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented PART-TIME (~25-32 hours a week) BOOKKEEPER to join its team in Philadelphia. This is a contract-to-permanent position. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and utilizing accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records, ensuring data integrity.

• Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate account balances.

• Generate financial reports and summaries to assist with decision-making and compliance.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of financial transactions.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient accounting workflows and processes.

• Monitor and track expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and company policies.

• Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

• Address any accounting-related inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a strong focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Solid understanding of billing procedures and financial recordkeeping.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and address inquiries.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
