    We are looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our client's team in Central, Kentucky. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and accurately maintain records for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

    • Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial report preparation.

    • Monitor invoices, payments, and expenses, recording them promptly and correctly.

    • Communicate with vendors and clients to address billing and payment inquiries.

    • Organize and secure financial records in compliance with company policies.

    • Support audits and financial reviews by providing necessary documentation.

    • Collaborate with the finance team to identify and resolve discrepancies.

    • Handle general administrative tasks to support the accounting department.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or certification in accounting is preferred.

    • 3+ years of experience in an accounting role, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.

    • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.

    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    • Ability to work with sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
