Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Poway, California. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. As a key contributor to our manufacturing organization, you will handle accounts management, inventory reconciliation, and collaborate across departments to maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices using QuickBooks, ensuring a streamlined and accurate billing system.

• Manage inventory accounting by performing reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with vendors, and ensuring accurate cost of goods sold (CoGS).

• Allocate payments and deposits to their corresponding accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices.

• Oversee the administration and reconciliation of virtual and physical card transactions.

• Utilize the Bill.com platform to optimize accounts payable processes and ensure timely payment management.

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring adherence to payment terms and resolving outstanding balances.

• Conduct follow-ups on accounts receivable collections and notify the team of overdue customer accounts.

• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address cost-related discrepancies effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Strong skills in bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and inventory accounting.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities to collaborate across departments.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in financial tasks.
