Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based fully on-site in Camp HIll, Pennsylvania, and involves managing financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. If you excel at working with data, spreadsheets, and financial systems, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform advanced functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis and reporting.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payment records promptly.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve payment-related inquiries.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies in accounts payable processes.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities as needed.

• Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable function.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve payment discrepancies.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and financial systems.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or accounting is a plus.
