Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Director of Warehouse Logistics & Supply Chain Operations to lead our facility operations based in Norwalk, CT. This senior leadership role focuses on streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and implementing cost-reduction strategies while upholding high standards of quality. The successful candidate will partner with executive leadership to promote operational excellence, workforce development, and ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Supervise day-to-day production functions, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and quality compliance.

+ Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve workflow efficiency and minimize waste.

+ Ensure all operations follow safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.

+ Manage logistics and warehouse functions, including inventory oversight, distribution, and materials movement.

+ Enhance route planning and logistical processes for timely, cost-effective deliveries.

+ Lead and support teams across production, warehouse, and logistics through mentorship and performance management.

+ Create and manage staffing plans and schedules to align with operational needs.

+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead continuous improvement efforts.

+ Design and execute cost-reduction measures to support overall financial goals.

+ Work closely with departments such as Sales, HR, and IT to align production strategies with broader company objectives.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse management.

• Expertise in process optimization, inventory control systems, and supply chain logistics.

• Proven ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement measures.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams in a high-volume environment.

• Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of industry safety regulations and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and technology-driven solutions for workflow optimization.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
