Description
Robert Half is seeking a Program Manager who will drive strategic initiatives, oversee multiple interconnected projects, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role involves supervisory and administrative social casework within the field of human services. The position is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating social service initiatives aimed at supporting program participants. This includes providing leadership to the overall program, evaluating services to meet needs and objectives, and supervising staff engaged in delivering services.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Plan, organize, and coordinate services within the social services program.
+ Supervise the work of caseworkers and support staff engaged in providing a variety of participant-focused services.
+ Oversee case assignments, ensuring quality and consistency in service delivery.
+ Conduct individual and group consultations with staff to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in service provision.
+ Regularly review and analyze case records to ensure the quality of services rendered.
+ Lead the planning and implementation of in-service training sessions for staff and meetings for program participants (such as workshops or councils).
+ Manage the administrative aspects of the social services program, including correspondence, reports, and recordkeeping.
+ Collaborate with external agencies and advocate for program goals within the community.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
+ Thorough knowledge of casework principles, methods, and practices.
+ Familiarity with social, economic, and health-related challenges, as well as available resources
+ Understanding of individual and group behaviors, with the ability to work effectively with adults and children facing social, economic, emotional, or health challenges.
+ Proficiency in program interpretation and community organization.
+ Knowledge of supervisory principles and in-service training techniques.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate program goals, instructions, and outcomes concisely.
Preferred Experience and Training:
+ At least three years of experience in social work with public or private organizations, including one year of supervisory, consultative, or advisory experience.
+ A bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
