Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a construction company in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in managing financial records, ensuring accurate billing, and supporting operational efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in bookkeeping and financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance billing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Work within billing controls and key operational management controls to maintain compliance.

• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and controls within the billing team.

• Collaborate with teams across various operating locations to streamline processes.

• Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner.

• Review invoices to ensure accuracy prior to distribution.

• Perform heavy data entry with speed and accuracy.

• Analyze billing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

• Proven data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with at least intermediate-level skills.

• Solid computer skills and ability to work with various software tools.

• Experience handling invoices, sales orders, credit memos, and/or bank deposits.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks and maintaining clarity in a fast-paced environment.
