Description We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Glendale Heights, Illinois. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of hardware and software systems, ensuring smooth operations across our organization. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a solid technical background.
Responsibilities:
• Provide front-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Android devices, Apple products, and Mac computers.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts and group policies.
• Configure, deploy, and support computer hardware and software systems across the organization.
• Utilize Cisco and Citrix technologies to address network and virtualization challenges.
• Perform configuration management to ensure systems operate efficiently and securely.
• Assist with the deployment of new technologies, including updates and patches.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and processes to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT support processes and enhance user experiences.
• Provide guidance and training to end-users on system usage and best practices. Requirements • Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Android development and support for Apple devices, including Mac computers.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Citrix technologies for network and virtualization support.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including user and group management.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software configuration and deployment.
• Ability to manage configuration processes to ensure system security and performance.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users and document solutions.
