Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Aventura, Florida. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will manage invoice processing, vendor account reconciliation, and ensure timely and accurate payment handling. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient accounts payable operations while adhering to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process vendor invoices and payment requests, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.

• Assign accurate General Ledger coding to invoices and input data into the accounting system.

• Set up and maintain vendor records, including collecting necessary documentation such as W-9 forms.

• Verify that all payments comply with established authorization protocols.

• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to maintain accuracy and completeness.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.

• Record manual payments, including checks and wire transfers, into the system.

• Monitor vendor statements to ensure timely payment processing and address any outstanding issues.

• Maintain organized electronic records for invoices, payment requests, and vendor documentation.

• Assist with preparing reports and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with Yardi or similar accounting software is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with intermediate-level skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
