Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations within a dynamic service environment in Conway, Arkansas. This role is vital for maintaining accurate financial reporting, managing payroll and billing processes, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting practices and leadership experience, especially within the service industry.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and billing.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze job cost reports, work-in-progress schedules, and budget variance analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure precise cost tracking and financial forecasting for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals.
• Develop, implement, and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedural frameworks.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members, fostering growth and development.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts to align with organizational goals.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Expertise in accounting software systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
