We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources operations within our organization in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, managing recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Human Resources department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with applicable laws.

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

• Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and coordinate training programs for continuous employee development.

• Oversee the administration and maintenance of insurance programs, including medical, dental, life, workers' compensation, and liability policies.

• Investigate and address claims from external agencies, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with legal standards.

• Serve as the administrator for workplace safety programs, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

• Manage the performance review process, update job descriptions, and maintain the Employee Handbook.

• Provide training sessions on topics such as sexual harassment, emergency procedures, and other critical workplace issues.

• Supervise payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with payroll regulations.

• Identify opportunities for improving staff allocation and scheduling to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing human resources operations.

• Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software such as ADP Workforce Now and Kronos.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and monitor employees while fostering a positive work environment.

• Experience in addressing and resolving employee relations issues, including documentation and disciplinary actions.

• Availability to respond to critical HR matters on a 24/7 basis.
