Are you a finance professional with a sharp eye for details and a passion for ensuring the financial success of programs and projects? We're seeking a Project Accountant to manage billing, track costs, and collaborate with teams to maintain the financial health of high-impact initiatives! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a project-driven environment and coordinate with project leaders on financial matters!

The salary range will be $80,000 - $110,000 DOE along with bonus opportunities, profit sharing, and other phenomenal benefits with a highly desirable and growing local company!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and accounting departments to provide current program financials

• Support the development of financial forecasts and assist project managers in tracking and reporting budget variances

• Manage the billing process in accordance with project milestones, progress, and contractual agreements

• Assist in maintaining a cost control system for ongoing programs and work closely with project managers to identify potential cost overruns or inefficiencies

• Generate and evaluate financial reports, including revenue recognition, cost reporting, and billing status for internal stakeholders and external clients

• Assist in managing the program cost by tracking costs accurately and identifying discrepancies or risks in financial data

• Ensure that billing processes adhere to contractual terms, agreements, and company policies

• Assist with the preparation of program budgets, monthly billing cycles, and tracking of milestones

• Ensure accurate data entry in financial systems and databases to keep all relevant financial data up-to-date and correct

• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and support the finance team in providing necessary records and reports for external audits.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficiency in using Concur for expense management

• Familiarity with CRM systems

• Understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Experience with About Time software

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and experience in Auditing practices
