Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Battle Creek, Michigan. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain accuracy across all financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to maintain compliance with accounting standards.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Manage general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

• Post and analyze journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare detailed financial analyses and reports.

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries and provide insights.

• Support financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar financial systems.

• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting requirements.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to financial challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
