TheReality Capture Technicianworks as part of the Reality Capture & BIM services team to accurately document a wide range of field information using a variety of methodologies including CAD drawings, BIM models, data applications, photography, and others as applicable. This role focuses on in-office production, coordination, and quality control.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining clear production documents and communicating effectively with team members and clients. They will also demonstrate basic to advanced technical knowledge of software, hardware, and data management systems relevant to the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Utilize LIDAR scanning datasets and tools to compile and interpret project data.

+ Register and manage laser scan point clouds using appropriate software.

+ Review and integrate site-collected data, including dimensions and photographic documentation.

+ Create accurate existing condition drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

+ Revise project deliverables based on internal redlines and team feedback.

+ Prepare and deliver survey reports in alignment with company and client expectations.

+ Document key architectural and MEP specifications as required.

+ Recommend improvements to workflows based on project observations and production efficiencies.

+ Communicate roadblocks or challenges to project leadership with possible solutions.

+ Follow internal procedures for timesheets, file organization, and expense tracking.

+ Comply with safety protocols and contribute to safe operational practices.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

+ 2+ years- experience in building/structural surveying, modeling, and drawing production.

+ Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and point cloud tools such as Recap or Cyclone.

+ Knowledge of construction standards, methods, and documentation practices.

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, video conferencing platforms, and cloud-based file systems.

+ Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

+ Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.

+ Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Language & Collaboration Requirements:

This role requires full professional fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Candidates must be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and regularly communicating with U.S.-based colleagues and clients. All meetings, documentation, and project coordination will be conducted in English. Candidates must be available to work standard U.S. business hours.

Work Conditions:

This role is remote based and will work closely with Architects, Designers, and Reality Capture teammates in the U.S. Multi-shift work may often be required to accomplish work to meet aggressive schedules. Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work with fluid schedules. Able to work remotely in a home office setting and manage time effectively with multiple projects and deadlines.
