InGenesis is currently seeking Dental Assistants to work with our potential client. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensuring efficient and patient-centered care. This role involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, performed under the direct supervision of a Dentist or Oral Surgeon. If you're ready to provide these patients with the highest level of care, apply today and we'll reach out to answer any questions you may have! *Position is contingent on contract award Responsibilities: * Escort and prepare patients for treatment. * Assist Dentists and Oral Surgeons during procedures. * Take and prepare X-rays. * Maintain and disinfect equipment and treatment rooms. * Manage dental supplies and inventory. * Assist with surgical procedures and monitor patients' vital signs. * Use the EPIC scheduling system. * Provide dental services at multiple clinics within CHS facilities * Perform other related duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications: * Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. * Level 1 Dental Assistant certification. * Graduation from an approved Dental Assistant program OR ten (10) years of Dental Assistant experience, preferably in a correctional health setting. * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically EPIC. * Strong understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA regulations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
