    Part Time, 48 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

    Position Summary:

    Completes project work as assigned by a member of accounting staff to support objectives of the Health System.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinates/performs projects as assigned, providing progress reports as requested.

    + Researches and analyzes accounting activities affecting Covenant Health operation, making recommendations as appropriate.

    + Prepares reports, proposals, etc. as requested.

    + Performs various account analysis as assigned.

    + Participates in community relation activities to support Health System objectives.

    + Attends meetings/seminars to gain and share information regarding health system accounting and fiscal operations.

    + Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    Currently pursuing Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting or accounting related field.

    Minimum Experience:

    Class work relating to internship duties in the accounting/healthcare field. Some experience in a professional or healthcare setting beneficial.
