**Position:** Nuero Psychologist - Inpatient

**Location:** 300 Market Street, Sabble Brook NJ

**Schedule:** Full Time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities

The **Psychologist** provides psychodiagnostic evaluations, psychological counseling and crisis intervention to patients and families. Provides recommendations and consultations to staff members regarding patient care matters.

Specific Duties:

+ Conducts psychological evaluations, including collection of anamnestic information and mental status examination, leading to diagnostic impression and recommendations for management and/or treatment.

+ Provides psychological treatment and interventions, as indicated, including individual, marital-family and/or group counseling as well as crisis intervention.

+ Prepares and delivers oral and written psychological reports to appropriate medical and/or clinical staff in a timely manner.

+ Maintains records as required by hospital policies, regulatory and accrediting agencies.

+ Establishes and maintains an appropriate clinical caseload.

+ Participates in departmental and rehabilitation team meetings and conferences regarding patient care issues.

+ Participates in training and education of medical residents, patients/families, staff members and others as directed.

+ Contributes to program improvement in an effort to improve quality of clinical services on an ongoing basis.

+ Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, EdD) in Psychology required

+ Current and valid state licensure as a Psychologist required

Preferred Experience:

+ Neuropsychology degree and neuropsychological practice within a rehabilitation setting preferred
