    Overview

    **Position:** Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient (Indirect Supervision Required)

    **Location:** State College, PA

    **Schedule:** PRN, as needed, Monday through Friday

    **Compensation:** Hourly rate 26-29/hr based on your experience.

     

    We are seeking an experienced, licensed **PRN physical therapist assistant (PTA)** to help on an as-needed basis. While our centers typically operate Monday through Friday, our flexible scheduling lets you craft a schedule that's suited to your unique lifestyle!

     

    **Unique Location/Job Details:** **Unique:** Position is covering as needed in our outpatient orthopedic center in State College. This is a community based, patient focused outpatient center that sees a diverse patient mix including orthopedics, neuro and sports medicine. Indirect Supervision is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

    + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

    Qualifications

    + College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

    + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

    + Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license with Indirect Supervision

    + CPR certification
