Position Summary
Fortune 5 CVS Health has a dynamic opportunity for a Manager, Application Developer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the Process Excellence and Innovation (PE&I) team to drive optimization and automation team in the finance organization. CVS Health is in the midst of a finance transformation and opportunities to improve processes and have an influence on the direction of the company abound.
As a Manager of Application Development, you will have a strong understanding of process improvement, and process optimization. You possess a strong understanding of, and ability to utilize ETL/ELT tools, specifically Alteryx and/or Dataiku, Tableau, SQL Server, and similar applications. You will form part of the Process Excellence and Innovation (PE&I) team and be critical in all aspects of the automation and overall CVS Finance Excellence initiatives.
In this role, you will be joining a highly collaborative team and be well versed in coordinating, managing and executing multiple projects to contribute to the achievement of our team’s strategic goals, Business Partner Engagement, Process Improvement Strategy, etc. Your varied tool kit of programming understanding, and use case knowledge: SQL, SAP Cloud Analytics and Finance knowledge will contribute to your success. Your effective alignment and collaboration with business partners on
problematic manual processes like data entry, manual accounting, data manipulation, functionality gaps
in systems, and ineffective manual controls are all examples of some of the tasks that this role could take on. Lastly, your ability to navigate change management, be an effective collaborator, and overall passion for continuous learning will make you successful in this role.
You will accomplish this by:
+ Collaborating with peers on a technical solution design, executing automation development, coordinating and completing unit testing and user acceptance testing, and assessing existing workflows and existing automation for improvement opportunities.
+ Drawing on your knowledge of coding languages to supplement workflow development to produce a clean and efficient work product.
+ Utilizing ETL/ELT tool knowledge to facilitate data quality, data completeness, and data management.
+ Ensuring process integrity by enhancing existing documentation.
Required Qualifications:
+ 5 years of professional experience within Finance, IT, or Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working with Automation Anywhere or similar RPA tools.
+ Alteryx Designer Advanced or Expert Certification (or equivalent ETL tool certification).
+ Experience/knowledge working with QuickBase, Power Automate, Gen AI, Power Apps, APIs, or similar.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree required; OR equivalent work experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $185,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
