Role: Sr.** **Databricks Architect
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Work Model:** Hybrid
Roles and responsibilities:
+ Lead the design and implementation of data architectures using PySpark and Databricks Workflows
+ Oversee the development and deployment of scalable data pipelines
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team
+ Ensure seamless integration of various AWS services, including AWS Data Lake
+ Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define project requirements and work you're doing
+ Monitor and optimize the performance of data workflows and pipelines
+ Apply standard methodologies for data security and compliance using AWS security services
+ Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures and workflows
+ Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with coding standards
+ Fix and resolve technical issues related to data processing and integration
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processing efficiency
+ Collaborate with collaborators to grasp business needs and transform them into technical solutions
+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's data architecture remains brand new
Required Qualifications:
+ Extensive experience with PySpark and Databricks Workflows
+ Good communication and collaboration abilities
+ Proven track record of leading and delivering complex data projects
+ Ability to mentor and guide team members effectively
+ Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Salary and Other Compensation** **:
Applications will be accepted until June 08, 2025
The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,848 - $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
