    Program Director - Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention

     

    Riverside Community Care is seeking a Program Director - YMCI with passion, vision, and leadership skills to build on our mobile crisis intervention team’s commitment to the community.

     

    In collaboration with the Area Director, the Program Director - YMCI will plan, oversee, and participate in the daily operation of the Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) component of the Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) ensuring quality of care, appropriate staffing and staff support and effective participation in the wider service system to ensure continuity of consumer care.

    Tasks for this role include:

    + Provide clinical supervision to designated MCI staff

    + Participate in a 24-hour clinical and administrative on-call to MCI/CCS/Respite staff, in regular rotation with other on-call personnel.

    + Assume responsibility for all Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) encounters for the team.

    + A critical component of the duties of the YMCI Director is ensuring that there is integration of services between the YMCI team and the larger CBHC, including the AMCI, YCCS, Adult CCS and the CBHC components.

    + Have a good understanding of youth substance use and corresponding best practice interventions.

    + Act as the gatekeeper for the Youth Community Crisis Stabilization (YCCS) and collaborates with the YCCS team and leadership in ensuring quality of service to clients at the YCCS program.

     

    Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

    Pay Rate:

    + Unlicensed Clinician - $90,164.67/salaried

    + Independent Licensure - $92,812.72/salaried

    Required Skills

    + Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.

    + Intermediate to advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office, required.

    + Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and regular access to a reliable vehicle required.

    Required Experience

    + Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related clinical human service discipline required.

    + Independent licensure preferred.

    + Two years supervisory or administrative experience in a similar mental health setting, especially Emergency Services, preferred.

    + Three years’ clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting and three years experience working with a psychiatrically disabled population required.
