About the Role:

Adecco is currently recruiting for an experienced **Electrician** to support our client’s Open Cut Maintenance team at the **North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM)** —the world’s largest surface coal mine, located in **Wright, Wyoming** . This is a unique opportunity to join a leading operation committed to safety and reliability in a supportive, close-knit community with excellent schools and recreational activities.

The ideal candidate will perform **preventive and breakdown electrical maintenance** on both fixed and mobile equipment in an open cut mining environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on safety, diagnostics, and repair excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Promote and uphold the company’s safety-first culture and values

+ Conduct workplace and equipment inspections for hazards or damage

+ Interpret electrical drawings/specs to plan work activities

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and breakdowns

+ Estimate resources needed to complete repairs

+ Order and manage repair materials

+ Perform electrical repairs and component replacements

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

+ Mentor junior personnel or apprentices as needed

+ Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

+ Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule & Benefits:

+ Flexibility required to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on operational needs

Qualifications & Experience:

+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance within a heavy industrial or mining setting preferred

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot in the field

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Willingness to work in all weather and time conditions

+ Availability for overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to stand/sit for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)

+ Capable of working from heights, climbing stairs/ladders, and operating equipment

+ Must wear all required PPE including protective footwear, hearing, and eye protection

+ Frequent lifting of 10–50 lbs. without assistance

+ Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (dust, noise, mud, temperature variations, low light, confined spaces)

+ Must be adaptable to rotating day, evening, and night shifts

**Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
