Adecco is currently assisting our client in City of Industry, CA hire an experience **Production Operator** for their warehouse. This is a great temp-to- hire job opportunity with great Monday-Friday Schedule.
Overview:
As a Production Operator you will perform essential tasks associated with the safe and efficient operation of the production line. This includes using equipment to produce high-quality products on time. You will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, following operating procedures and communicating effectively with team members. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate production equipment and perform related tasks as directed by supervision.
2. Adhere to all safety procedures and requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
3. Follow all operational procedures and practices without deviation.
4. Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.
5. Contribute to improvements in production efficiency and operational performance.
6. Troubleshoot process equipment, perform minor repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance.
7. Safely operate and inspect forklifts.
8. Perform general housekeeping tasks to support safe and efficient operation.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
2. Dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
3. 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, or technical roles preferred.
4. Willingness to work overtime, including on short notice when required.
5. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including close-toe shoes, protective eyewear and gloves.
6. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
7. Ability to perform repetitive movements such as climbing stairs, standing, stooping, and bending.
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate written records.
9. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Prior experience with preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment is preferred.
**Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, onsite
**Pay:** $20 - $22 per hour
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
