**Job Title:** Quality Inspector (Temp to Perm)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machining or screw machine environments who thrives in a hands-on, oily production setting. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting the calibration program.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Draw and clean inspection samples directly from CNC machines in an oily production environment
+ Perform first article and setup inspections
+ Conduct inspections using a full range of mechanical gauges and comparators
+ Utilize CMM and/or optical equipment (PC-DMIS experience is a plus)
+ Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles accurately
+ Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
+ Maintain precise documentation for inspection results and quality checks
+ Track and manage internal/external calibration using GageTrak
+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the manufacturing environment
+ Use Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting (proficiency preferred)
Qualifications:
+ 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably machining or screw machine operations
+ Strong understanding of mechanical gauging and GD&T
+ Experience with CMM and optical inspection tools preferred
+ Keen attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation
Compensation & Schedule:
+ **Pay Rate:** $20.00 – $28.00/hour, based on experience
+ **Schedule:** Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible start); Overtime available on Fridays as needed
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
