• Sr. Food Service Worker

    Patchogue-Medford School District (Patchogue, NY)


    Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

     

    + Orders and supervises the preparation of food items

    + assigns work to and supervises food service workers in cleaning, dishwashing and related activities

    + counts money received and prepares it for daily bank deposit

    + Orders food and eating utensils from central kitchen

    + Oversees and helps in the day to day running of the building's kitchen

    Job Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFIICATIONS:

    Either:

    a) Competion of six (6) grade; or

     

    b) Six (6) months of paid experience in the preparation of food : or,

     

    c) An equivalent combination of educaton or experience as defined by the limits of a) and b).

    NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    Candidates employed must attend ongoing continuing education/training as required by the Food and Nutrition Service of the United States Department of Agriculture.
