    Job Summary:

    The Coordinator of Mass Spectrometry will perform routine testing in the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory following established policies and procedures as defined by the CP Core Lab procedure manual. Will assume responsibility as primary operator of Mass Spectrometry testing including analyzers, equipment/method regarding troubleshooting, supply inventory, procedures, water testing, QA program, QC monitoring, and training of staff in conjunction with supervisor.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Master's degree in one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences, and two years of Clinical laboratory experience OR NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and a minimum of four years of Clinical Laboratory experience. Must be able to distinguish colors for the purposes of performing laboratory tests.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    BS in Medical Technology. Mass spectrometry experience in a Clinical Lab.

    Work Days:

    Monday-Fridays 7 am - 330 pm. Possible weekends and Holidays
