    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing incoming payments, ensuring their accuracy and proper application to customer accounts. This role involves monitoring accounts, identifying overdue payments, and following up with customers to resolve outstanding balances.

    Responsibilities

    + Process incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and proper application of funds to customer accounts.

    + Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records.

    + Prepare and send customer invoices and statements in a timely manner.

    + Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

    + Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

    + Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address any billing or payment concerns.

    + Utilize ERP software for invoicing, reporting, and maintaining financial records.

    + Assist in the preparation of financial reports and assist with audits as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Experience with ERP software (e.g., Epicor, Acumatica, IQMS, or similar).

    + Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

    + Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with general accounting, AR, accounts receivable processes, and collection strategies.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The role involves using ERP software and Microsoft Office applications to maintain financial records and perform reporting tasks. Collaboration with sales and customer service teams is essential to address billing and payment concerns efficiently.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
