    Job Title: Employee Relations Consultant

    Job Description

    The Coworker Relations Business Partner (BP) is a vital component of the Coworker Services (HR) organization and serves as a crucial resource to the business organization it supports. This role involves analyzing and resolving associate relations issues, including attendance, performance management, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, compliance, coworker transitions/separations, and crisis management. The Coworker Relations BP collaborates with the Business Partner role in areas like change management, reporting, organizational initiatives, talent planning, and business advisement, interacting with all departments and levels within the organization.

    Responsibilities

    + Act as an internal advisor and coach, providing solutions and analysis on coworker relations matters related to the business and assigned functions.

    + Coach and advise managers at all levels regarding the interpretation of corporate policy, procedures, and business practices.

    + Analyze trends and themes associated with coworker relations issues.

    + Assist the Manager, Business Partner - Coworker Relations in making decisions and recommendations to the business and assigned functions.

    + Partner with stakeholders including CWS Business Partners, Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Safety and Security, and other departments as needed for employee relations decisions and recommendations.

    + Maintain supporting investigation notes, statements, and documentation in EthicsPoint.

    + Act as the primary interface with leadership on associate relations issues within respective functional areas.

    + Provide counsel and coaching to coworkers as needed.

    + Conduct workplace investigations where appropriate.

    + Uphold policies that increase retention rates and foster coworkers’ morale and engagement.

    + Act as a strategic business partner to accomplish business unit initiatives and collaborate with other departments.

    + Travel as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

    + 4 years of business-facing human resources experience, preferably as a generalist, in a population of 500+ coworkers.

    + Intermediate to advanced level experience with Excel, including v-lookup and pivot tables.

    + Proficiency with PC skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PeopleSoft experience.

    + PHR or SPHR certification.

    + Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The role requires working in the office two days a week, with training conducted in the office during the first week. The team is part of Coworker Services (Employee Relations) and is known for its strong and fun dynamics, flexible management, empowering culture, and ample opportunities for growth and development.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
