Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Redevelopment Program Manager. The primary duties of the Redevelopment Program Manager position include:
+ Oversee the master planning of Gilbert's redevelopment areas while developing and/or implementing land use plans that include mixed-use, multi-model areas utilizing new urbanism techniques;
+ Coordinate placemaking efforts to activate and support the enhancement of public and private spaces
+ Coordinate redevelopment-related capital improvement project planning in partnership with the Engineering team;
+ Coordinate and manage a wide range of public, stakeholder, and special group outreach to foster engagement and gather feedback;
+ Develop and administer scopes of work and budgets for approved redevelopment-related projects and/or programs;
+ Identify alternative funding sources and/or investment financing tools that could be pursued to support redevelopment goals;
+ Create and administer requests for proposal/qualifications (RFP/RFQ) for the disposition and development of Town-owned property;

About You

+ Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Development, Redevelopment, Business or Public Administration, Urban Planning, Economic Development, or a closely related field.
+ 8 years of experience in project management, including broad-based experience in the redevelopment industry, including real estate development, improvement district management, and related development projects. Extensive experience interacting with various constituency groups, integrating and managing projects involving multiple disciplines and functions.
+ 1 - 2 years of management or administrative experience.
This position has been identified as an eligible position for a Hybrid work agreement, defined as “Approximately half (50%) of the employees’ time is spent on-site and half (50%) can be spent working remotely”. Currently, the Office of Economic Development has identified Monday and Thursday as eligible remote workdays, bringing the team together in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. Modified work privileges are approved at the sole discretion of the department director; as such, the department reserves the right to modify or discontinue modified work arrangements at any point. Regardless of work location (Remote, On-Site, or Hybrid) Town of Gilbert employees are required to reside in the state of Arizona.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt-ineligible for overtime compensation.
This position has been designated as a Sedentary position that spends most of the workday in an office setting.
