Technical Service
Conduct Inspections and Preventive Maintenance (IPM), safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on highly complex healthcare technology (biomedical equipment) and systems
Perform and manage the, including, but not limited to, assembly, installation, adjustment, and testing as well as addressing the risk of cybersecurity and updating, of intricate biomedical equipment and systems
Inform leaders of the status of projects, technical activities, and customer concerns
Collaborate and support customers in clinical and non-clinical environments providing timely and professional communication to support patient safety, business operations, and agreements
Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and service technicians to ensure complete documentation and proper service delivery
Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
Lead special projects which may including traveling to support other region's needs
Act as a subject matter expert on fleet spanning, high value, and high-risk healthcare technologies
Act as a respected and knowledgeable resource for clinical, technical, support, & leadership staff

Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP) as well as other THR and THR HTM policies and procedures
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation of service events, projects, and other metrics.

Account Relationship Management
Grow and maintain professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff, patients and visitors, and external contributors and partners.
Provide professional and timely status updates with customers
Serve as an ambassador for HTM by integrating THR?s core values, HTM?s mission and vision into each interaction and daily work

Inventory
Perform periodic validation of current inventory
Perform the security analysis for new equipment and on a periodic basis thereafter
Perform Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory
Ensure accurate equipment database management, including inventory, maintenance schedules, nomenclature, and service history
Provide recommendations on the inventory
10% **Education** Associate's Degree in electronics, engineering, or relevant-field Req Or
Other Military experience in electronics/biomed Req Or
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or engineering technology Pref **Experience** 5 Years Minimum experience working with Biomed equipment in a clinical engineering environment. Req **Licenses and Certifications** DL - Drivers License Upon Hire Req And
Other Certification (CBET/CRES/CHTM) through the AAMI Credentials Institute Upon Hire Pref And
Other Completion of Networking Foundations course 2 Years Req **Skills** Performs repairs of complex, high risk/high value medical devices with a superior level of competence.
Complex computer skills required, including the ability to administrate a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard-drives, replace power supplies, interpret computer codes, and apply networking concepts
Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
