Description

The Senior Aviation Project Manager will oversee aviation projects, initially at Dulles International Airport, with the goal of expanding to more local projects. The candidate will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality aviation projects.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead project teams and manage client relationships.

+ Support planning and design of aviation facilities.

+ Prepare project strategies, methodologies, and schedules.

+ Develop and validate project scope, fee, budget, and services.

+ Manage projects using Deltek Project Management system.

+ Negotiate fees and contracts; prepare consultant contracts.

+ Incorporate sustainable design solutions.

+ Foster a culture of client service and collaboration.

+ Plan, organize, and manage projects; communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.

+ Monitor construction administration and maintain positive relationships with consultants and clients.

+ Maintain client relationships and keep clients updated on project progress.

+ Lead client presentations and project reviews.

+ Identify new business opportunities and develop current client relationships.

+ Participate in marketing and business development activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in architecture; Master's degree preferred.

+ 18 years’ experience in architectural practice; 10 years in aviation/transportation projects.

+ Licensed Architect; NCARB registration preferred.

+ LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

+ Understanding of Revit software.

+ Strong client interfacing personality with project leadership experience.

+ Experience in similar projects such as sports arenas, malls, and town centers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
