Job Title: Chief Architectural Designer

Job Description

Actively participate in the creation, production, and development of design concepts, schematic level documents, and technical construction documentation. Utilize time management skills to coordinate production assignments with the project's production schedule. Engage in the coordination and communication of project design, technical solutions, and product strategies with team members, stakeholders, and sub-consultants. Maintain technical and quality standards, and continuously advance professional development through training and education.

Responsibilities

+ Create, produce, and develop design concepts, schematic level documents, and technical construction documentation.

+ Coordinate and communicate project design, technical solutions, and execution strategies with team members, stakeholders, and client representatives.

+ Maintain and implement technical and aesthetic project requirements and scope of work.

+ Participate in company events, learning workshops, networking events, and professional/team development activities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned to meet firm objectives.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit, Architecture, Design, Revit design, and development for civic, municipality, and commercial projects.

+ Experience in construction documents and construction administration.

+ Knowledge of Sketchup, Adobe, and redlining.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1-3 years of professional experience as an Architectural Designer and approximately 3-6 years of overall experience.

+ Professionally accredited degree in architecture or a related field.

+ Developing knowledge of building codes and the ability to present developed findings.

+ Sound working knowledge of general architectural systems and assemblies.

Work Environment

The firm operates in a brand new office space adjacent to the mall, offering free parking. Employees typically work on-site 2-3 times a week, with a requirement to be in the office every day for the first month to collaborate with the team. The firm is recognized for its nationally acclaimed public safety architecture and designs libraries, offices, and mixed-use facilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $48.00/hr.
