    Job Title: Lab AnalystJob Description

     

    Conduct laboratory tests to measure parameters such as pH, turbidity, chlorine levels, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and incubators. Record, analyze, and interpret test results using data analysis software. Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to regulatory agencies, engineers, and environmental scientists. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal water quality regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections. Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed. Follow strict safety and quality assurance protocols.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory techniques.

    + Experience with AA, ICP, and water testing.

    + Familiarity with gc-ms technology.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Degree or in pursuit of a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.

    + At least 1 year of chemistry lab experience from within or outside of school.

    Work Environment

    The role operates in a laboratory setting from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Opportunities for learning and development are available within the organization.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
