    Job Title: Avionics Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to join our team at a large MRO facility located in Bridgeport, WV. This facility serves as a central Service Center for CRJ 200, 400, 700, and 900 series aircraft, where you will perform heavy avionics work including installation, troubleshooting, wire harness fabrication, and modification.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform installation, troubleshooting, and modification of avionics systems on aircraft.

    + Fabricate and modify wire harnesses as required.

    + Complete heavy avionics tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes.

    + Communicate aircraft maintenance actions clearly in both verbal and written English.

    + Follow work orders and adhere to time-sensitive schedules.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience with corporate or commercial aircraft.

    + FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License preferred.

    + GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification preferred.

    + Certification from Avionics, Electric A/C Technical school or equivalent military training is preferred.

    + Proficiency in English communication.

    + Capability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Military aircraft maintenance experience, particularly Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections, is a plus.

    + Must possess personal tools for the job.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a heavy MRO environment, supporting C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for Regional Airlines. The facility operates 24/7 with a southern swing shift schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off followed by 3 days on, 4 days off. Shifts run from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The culture is dynamic and demanding, requiring diligence and high performance. Dress code is casual with optional steel-toed shoes. Safety is prioritized with standard PPE requirements, including safety glasses and additional protection as needed. Fall protection training and safety training are provided during orientation.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
