Job Title: Welder (Aluminum/Steel)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team, with openings available on both 1st and 2nd shifts. The successful candidates will work in the columns area, welding steel columns used for racking systems. Some positions will also involve more advanced fabrication work in the south weld building, requiring candidates to create their own jigs for various pieces.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding in the columns area for racking systems.

+ Engage in advanced fabrication work, including making jigs for necessary pieces.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Ensure high-quality welds that meet testing standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience in fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No GED or High School Diploma required.

+ Experience in MIG welding is necessary.

+ Candidates from tech school are welcome if they can pass the weld test.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a typical fabrication plant, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The location on Maple Ave is known to be dirty and dusty, while the facility at Industrial Circle, where bulletproof windows are manufactured, offers a cleaner environment. Steel-toed boots and a personal welding shield are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
