Job Title: Industrial Cleaner Experience - 1st Shift - Starting at $19/hr

Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for using hand tools and equipment to clean machinery and work areas. Your tasks will include shoveling ash into buckets, cleaning oil spills, and performing overall cleaning during shutdowns. This role requires repetitive lifting, stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and crawling, along with lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and climbing ladders or stairs. You must adhere to PPE requirements, including double hearing protection, fire-resistant coveralls, eye protection, and hard hats in certain areas.

Responsibilities

+ Perform cleaning tasks on machinery and work areas using hand tools and equipment.

+ Clean ash from products and shovel into buckets.

+ Clean oil spills and other substances from areas around machinery.

+ Conduct overall cleaning of entire machines during shutdowns.

+ Lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, or crawl repetitively.

+ Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

+ Climb ladders attached to machinery or stairs.

+ Use PPE such as double hearing protection, fire-resistant coveralls, eye protection, and hard hats in certain areas.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Manufacturing, industrial, or construction experience

+ Experience with hand tools and power tools.

+ Familiarity with hydro blasting, power washing, shoveling, and industrial cleanup.

+ Experience with power washing or hydro blasting equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
